Membership Information Sheet
What is
ne.music?
ne.music is a community based music project with the
aim of developing, promoting and supporting the musically
creative people of our region.
Run as a not-for-profit co-operative organisation
our members are made up of people of all ages and
abilities with a common passion for music.
We are constantly developing a range of training programs,
community projects, employment opportunities and events
that help our members to further their ambitions.
Where
do I come in?
We are looking to build a base of members to be involved
in various projects that will be running as part of
ne.music. Such projects will be promoted throughout
the media, including TV, Radio and Newspapers and
other advertising avenues.
As a member you will be involved in the planning and
development of the projects and will be asked to express
your views and ideas on how best to make these as
successful as possible.
What's
in it for me?
We will be providing many different services as part
of our membership scheme, these will include training
to improve your musical talent, advice on how best
to achieve your aims both individually and as a band
(if applicable).
We will be running a series of projects throughout
each year, where we will be looking for our members
to be involved at all stages, including live performances
and recording.
As part of ne.music, one of our projects will be a
monthly magazine which will include features on some
of our members, and as a member you will be encouraged
to provide your input, should you wish to do so, and
provide material about you and your band which could
be featured in the magazine.
We also intend to help your band with funding opportunities
that will be of interest to themselves and what they
wish to achieve.
Is that
it?
Well, no. Every member of ne.music will be provided
with a membership card, which will provide you with
the opportunity to receive many discounts from a list
of companies that have joined our list of Service
Providers, including Guitar Guitar and The Cluny Recording
Studios. This will give you a chance to purchase equipment
and services you may need at a discounted rate, the
membership card will also be used to gain entry to
a number of gig's around the North East at a reduced
cost.
How do
I get involved or find out more?
You can get in touch with us by telephone on 01670
542853 and chat to one of our staff, who will explain
the membership scheme.
